he Benefits And Limitations Of Different Types Of Language Learning
In our modern age, what with ease of travel and technological
developments, we’re presented with many different ways of learning a
language. There are of course the more traditional methods such as
classroom and textbook learning, but with the internet you are also
offered many more ways to learn. Each of these have their own pros
and cons for the particular lifestyle of the individual. Here we try
and weigh up which method would suit you as a language learner.
Online/Text Book
This is probably the most basic way of learning a language, you can
either subscribe to a website or buy a text book. Here you are
limited because you must find time to learn, whereas if you have
joined a course or evening class then you have to learn at a certain
time every week or day. You also miss out on the chance to practise
with others. This method is perhaps better for those who already
have a certain level of the language and just need a top-up.
